To do this transition and avoid upset tums, it’s best to transition gradually over 7–10 days. Start by mixing a small amount of adult food with your the current puppy food, then slowly increase the ratio of adult food each day. Puppy and toy breed kibble measures roughly 7.5mm in diameter and 5mm deep, designed to be easy-to-eat for small mouths. If you are looking for something a little larger you could try our chicken dry food recipe at 10mm diameter, 6mm deep, our turkey recipe at 12mm or our salmon dry dog food which is 17.5mm diameter.

Once you have opened a bag of our dry cat or dog food, we advise that you use it within 3 months. Make sure to reseal the bag to maintain freshness and nutritional quality.
